oh god, this does bring to mind my random character thought of a few months ago, what would it be like to be half vulcan half betazoid? Able to feel emotions but not experience them, if that makes sense. Meh

As I understand it, Vulcans start out able to feel/experience emotions, and learn to supress and control them. There is a 'ritual' of sorts that completely cuts them off from emotions, however, that many undertake (It's part of some philosophical path?).

Either way, there would be a bombardment of pesky emotions that would not just come from external sources (people) but be directly received by her brain. I would think this would make her more susceptible to her emotion-wall crumbling away. She might just spend alot more time meditating or occasionally have outbursts. - I believe spock got emotional at times?  Huh?

Vulcan's do feel emotions but they surpress them via the Kholynaru (forgive the spelling) ritual that purges emotions and locks them away.

I would imagine that Betazoid/Vulcan would beable to project Emotion (possibly uncontrolably in some situatuions).

Morgalahan if you are wanting to play a Betazoid/Vulcan I am alright with that.  Which of the remaining posts would you like?

If anyone doesn't want to play a department head or wants to play a character from a department already chosen by another player you can chose to play a standard officer (non department head) at the rank of Lieutenant (JG) or Ensign

So, further to discussions and the most recent Episode, I present what I believe to be the theme-tune to CSI - Enceladus
