With the cargo hold full of easily tradable goods and the luxury cabins filled with suitably wealthy travellers, we left the Hive behind us. Butlers, who serve the guests during the journey do so, operating out of the Butlarium. Due to the unrivalled skill of our Navigator, the jump took a fraction of the expected time and we were unloading passengers and Cargo all but within 48 hours.

With the Seneschal occupied moving cargo and the crew making final preperations of small craft and weapons systems, that left those of us of an outgoing nature free to do a little leg-work of our own. The Void-Master finally managed to procure a night-cloak and man portable las-cannon, before meeting up with the Astropath, whose efforts to find further information on the Emperor's bounty by communing with other Astropaths at the Blue Rose mind-jazz bar had revealed nothing we didn't already know. Meanwhile, the Navigator, accompanied by his assigned bodyguards, the three blonde Caiman sisters* did some research into the region and any major events at the local equivalent of an internet cafe. No rampaging fleets were mentioned, or other troubling happenings.
Though apparently, rumours abound that the Dread Pearl (A lost world of incredible richness) has re-emerged, and the Rogue Trader Captain Spakk Jarrow has sworn to find it.

Soon enough, preperations were ready, so the ship departed again for the target co-ordinates, in a place called 'the Battlefield', a rubble-field strewn with ancient ruins and accumulated debris. Once again, the Navigator pulls out all the stops, and the trip barely takes a day. The debris-field comes into view on the main-screens, we have arrived...

*The eldest, Esobel 'Tibb' Caiman. Quiet, competant, thoughtful and authoritative but a tad grim and pessimistic.
The youngest, Cycaline 'Sissie' Caimen. Brash, energetic, fearless and noisey. Frequently drunk.
and Dolores 'Lola' Caimen, the middle sister. Happy, mild and unflappable. A natural diplomat with a mean left hook. Formerly a very explosively violent person with a decidedly chequered past, it takes a lot to make Dolores lose her temper but when she does, it stays lost. Affectionately Nicknamed 'X-Reg' amongst the crew.

I already have plans for Captain Jarrow to make an appearance in the future.
