Cheers Paul

Games - what are we going to play.
I have not looked at the D&D 3e for ages (we don't play it in Winchester) and I don't have time to prep so this is not on the table (no pun intended).
I have the Traveller Tripwire continutation we could play (Slug will need a drop in part but that shouldn't be too hard - I think you still have the Vargr with you?) I also have some Cthulhu mini's, one from the keepers screen and one from the Arkham source book (don't know if you have played them PM?) I would also like the opportunity to play as well during this visit.
There is a chance I might have to work this weekend but I am doing everyhing I can to avoid it.

It would be good to carry on with Tripwire. I think the Vargr is with us.
I'm sure I can sort out some Cthulhu to run but it will probably be a short one.
I'll be absent from Paul and Carole's for the mother-in-law's party from about 5.30-11pm on Sat.
Anyone sorting out Simon's travel? Steve normally does the honour but he's not posted. If you don't make Dave will Paul H be stuffed to get home too?

I don't mind giving Si a lift back on Sunday if needed but I can't quite face Nottingham-Tring-Burton-Nottingham-Burton all on Saturday.
Train route is Tring-Milton Keynes-Tamworth-Burton so maybe if Si can cadge a lift to MK I could go via Tamworth to collect him?

Guys, I am a bit strapped for cash this holiday. None of my American credit cards have chip and pin, therefore I am fast draining the cash reserves in the UK. I have enough for food and beer but not for train travel. If I can't get a lift then Buggar.

I may be able to sort something out if Paul H/Dave unable to pick you up, but I will not be able to confirm for sure until later in the week. Car is going back to garage for replacemnt parts. (showing nice error lights at the mo ) I have just txt'd Paul H again asking about his ability to pick you up on his way, so I'll get an answer one way or another Gamewise, I have a rather a large amount of options (boardgames) some D&D based, or I could always ask if Evil fancies diving into the deep end and running something for us

Assuming I can get to you my vote for games would be (in no particular order) D&D - any edition except 4th Traveller Cthulhu Deadlands
I would prefer a game where I am familiar with the rules system. If EvilG and Frog are around I have presents for them. Same with you and Dave.

Zarni, I could be persuaded to run something though I haven't a clue what yet though but possibly Pathfinderish (D&D 3.75) of even the Dying Earth game I wrote years ago if I can find it or the rule book as I think they are both still packed. There is also a possibility of a quick dip into my World of Darkness for the really brave & foolish...... Ginger

If Dave is unavailable we could collect Si. I will be travelling up with Sue and Martin and they are dropping off me like last time (but nly me this time) and collect me on the way home sunday (so no late sunday for me unless Dave is attending and can drop me back). Cheers Paul I may be able to sort something out if Paul H/Dave unable to pick you up, but I will not be able to confirm for sure until later in the week.
