Great Pubs

I thought it worth starting a thread to talk about great pubs that deserve a decent shout out..

To start the Ball rolling I thought I would big up "The Dog" (@TheDogBurton) which is a good old fashioned pub that has been refurbished to that style by its new young landlord. It has a great atmosphere, is dog friendly! and it does have music but at a nice background level so you can enjoy it and still have a conversation.

It also has a lovely selection of beers at reasonably prices and they are always welcoming.

Another great Pub is the Fuggle & Nugget:

 

Located at 81 High Street Burton-Upon-Trent this is a micro-pub and whilst it may be physically small it has a big heart.

Shaun and Jane are two of the nicest people you could meet always making everyone feel welcome definitely worth a visit.
