Title: D6 + Beer! Trial event. Post by: CardcoreGamer on 04 June 2012, 01:25:56 D6 + Beer! is a trial event for a regular gaming night at the Brunswick Inn near Derby train station. We've got the board room upstairs which isn't a large space, but has six tables which could accommodate three large games or several smaller ones. We also have the rest of the pub downstairs which doesn't have as much table room, but could be used for card games or smaller board games.
The event begins at 6pm and will run until closing time, there's no entry fee, but I'm sure the staff of the Brunswick would appreciate your custom! Post by: EvilGinger on 14 June 2012, 05:46:26 OK after taking the long way round to the Brunswick I got a bit mislead by the map there is no row of buildings between it & the station its just across the road from the station just not visible as you leave it & the bit on the map that looks like buildings is a car park.
It had started when I got there with a large game of Mixed Munchkin in process & a game of Last Night on Earth starting up (http://www.spiritgames.co.uk/image/comgames/3688.jpg) This I joined as I had seen it & sold it in the shop but not actually played it as such & I am always one to want to try new games. So I joined in & it was full with four hero players & two Zombie players. The scenario for this is a scenario based game required the heroes to defend the central manor house & the Zombie players to get nine Zombies into the place.
