Title: Ripples from Sijann Post by: EvilGinger on 09 May 2012, 18:35:56 The Walkers plan had been audacious, it had come in the dark mad whispers of its masters not a plan not a concept but a fragment of memory of when they where other than they are now. It had been slow in building and it had taken its agents a long time to confirm the structure still existed & its magicians even longer to divine it still might be revived & how that might be accomplished. It had worked to infiltrate the culture of Sijjan to twist it to make it its tool or rather the sacrifice. The willing sacrifice of just over a million souls had been enough .
Dragon lines had shifted the thing whatever it was started to come to life and the walker walked as the ritual reached its climax & it did reach that climax but not the one The Walker has so long plotted.... Others took command of the thing & used it to their will it drove the Walker from the world it healed the oldest death realm in creation & scoured Thorns clear of the dead leaving it an empty ruin home only to the bones of those Mask of Winter had slain & it had done other things that The Walker form his palace could not quickly discern. >:DGinger Title: Re: Ripples from Sijann Post by: EvilGinger on 09 May 2012, 19:12:57 Mask of Winter fled the remaking of creation and the destruction of all ha had plotted since long before he had lead his armies against Thorns as it lay wounded form the bloody war with The Confederation of the Rivers. The great Behemoth it had made its weapon and its palace was at last dead & the host of the dead which had supported the great monster where blown away as chaff on the wind. All was in ruin, but on thing Mask of Winter knew was that it had time on its side. It had seen such setbacks before and always it had over come them in the long term.

Countless died slow lingering deaths as the wild twisted choked or starved or suffocated under the harsh and rigid laws of creation. The myriad works of the fair folk where undone & the great amongst them driven form their foot holds scorched by the lash of order. Many old Chimera long lost to the wild found at last death & their glistering silver exaltations came free and flew home to heaven.
