Post by: EvilGinger on 17 April 2012, 16:15:42
On the Saturday of Beer & Pretzels I will have set up & will run Storming the Hun II & a Play test Game of Dux Britanarium for any who want to give either a go, in either case I will umpire & play as appropriate.

Was it storming the Hun II that you ran last year and that I played?

It was dear frog & I should be running Storming the Hun III  but that will have to wait till I have the tanks are done or something WWII Ost front which is even further down the production schedule.

Too too much to do I am afraid folks

I now have all the Saxons done for the Dux Brittanarium game thought sadly I seem not to have quite enough figures to do both Radwalds & Ilthmars bands separately. however if I mix the figures I have for the rank and file we can play either just not both using their own figures that said I have more than enough for my Roamno British & I hope to get warbases movement trays on Saturday morning so I may be painting these at Beer & Pretzels itself..

I also have the latest version of the play test rules Version 2.55 which I will be reading through by Saturday & using for the game they feature cavalry but I will not have any painted sadly as even I have my limits.

Cavalry are interesting both powerful nimble & fragile by turns not game changers but something to worry Saxon players who are the least likely to have any, most especially early on.

I am expecting the campaign rules early next week.

Just to say that as it follows Beer & lard rather too closely I have no particular games planed for Autumn Beer & Pretzels & rather intend to go & play other folks games....

I will be doing stuff for The Main Beer & Pretzels Next year.
