However they did encounter an other small hunting party, of a mere twenty five men Cathak house troops lead by a young dynast of house Cathak which agreed to escort them back to the nearest friendly town. Eventually arriving tired dusty & in some cases rather dejected at the southern most Guild trading post of Ruethna where they decided to rest & work out what to do next.
Ruethna superficially resembled Ifonaris in its design a mud brick walled town built around a water source, but it is several times its size and much more cosmopolitan as one would expect from its association with the Guild. The man introduced himself politely in accented low realm as Alixdar Etreniankor & remarkably he announced calmly that he knew who the company where, naming them all & was expecting to meet them here.
