Details from their Website (http://www.fbgames.co.uk/Midcon/default.htm): MidCon is a board-games convention held in the comfort of a top class hotel in Derby, UK, which is organised by a group of independent amateur board games enthusiasts. MidCon 2015 will be the 36th and will take place from 13th - 15th November 2015, at the Hallmark Hotel, Derby . The convention is now open for bookings for 2015. MidCon provides a very comfortable setting to play your favourite board games and to try out new ones; to meet old friends and find new ones. The emphasis is on relaxation and enjoyment. With typically over 180 people present, MidCon is big enough to provide the variety you want, but small enough to retain the personal touch. The day rates are: £10/£15/£10 for Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Please note: convention fees are not refundable. You can register for the event online (http://www.boardgamers.org.uk/booking.php). You do not have to stay in the Hallmark Hotel or the Hallmark Inn to attend the con. Hallmark Hotel Accommodation: Bed and breakfast prices of £64 Single, £77.00 Double / Twin per room per night. Traditionally, the Hallmark has offered a rate for the night before the first day of MidCon (i.e.Thursday 12th November 2015), and I don't expect this year will be any different, but we do not having the pricing details yet.. Hallmark Inn Accommodation: Bed and breakfast prices of £54.00 Single, £67.00 Double /Twin per room per night. Traditionally, the Hallmark has offered a rate for the night before the first day of MidCon (i.e. Thursday 12th November 2015), and I don't expect this year will be any different, but we do not having the pricing details yet.. The Hallmark Inn is 50 metres from the Hallmark Hotel, across the street. Both hotels have dedicated, free car parks. Derby railway station is about 50 metres away and there is a bus link from there to East Midlands airport.
