Title: Great Pubs Post by: Zarniwoop on 25 August 2015, 19:52:49 I thought it worth starting a thread to talk about great pubs that deserve a decent shout out..
To start the Ball rolling I thought I would big up "The Dog" (@TheDogBurton (https://twitter.com/thedogburton)) which is a good old fashioned pub that has been refurbished to that style by its new young landlord. It has a great atmosphere, is dog friendly! and it does have music but at a nice background level so you can enjoy it and still have a conversation. It also has a lovely selection of beers at reasonably prices and they are always welcoming. Shaun and Jane are two of the nicest people you could meet always making everyone feel welcome definitely worth a visit. |
