A French wilderness empire stretches across vast tracks of the North American forest, along its rivers  and the Great Lakes. It is growing, pushing further south and east. They have embraced and supported a Native American empire in the western wilderness. Both depend on each other for commerce and protection. Both are threatened by British expansion from the east. Both have aligned themselves together to stop it. Then a small skirmish on their frontier ignites a world war that engulfs them all.Wilderness Empires is a grand campaign game covering the French and Indian War. The sun mover counter-clockwise above Antarctica, thawing ships which can be used for scientific progress. At thee end of the game, you will receive victory points for all sorts of majorities.Will your team be the one that gained the greatest fortune.. um, contributed the most to rescue mankind?Turn order is determined by the sun. The focus is on building your company using a card-driven (human) resource management system. Players compete on a variable city map through purchasing, marketing and sales, and on a job market for key staff members. The game can be played by 2-5 serious gamers in 2-4 hours.
