The German army was not prepared for winter. Their high command did not expect the Soviets to launch a major attack.That first bitter winter of Barbarossa, when the Soviet counter offensive rolled back the German Army in shock, only a few places held out against the tide... and only for extremely important reasons.There was a pocket at Demjansk. A whole German corps lay surrounded. And yet, a critical part of that fight was located 100km to the soutwest, at a small town called Cholm. It was the best crossing for the Lovat River, and commanded the road through a difficult swamp (even in winter, this was soft ground).So, a scratch group of 5500 men, without real anti-tank equipment, dug in at Festung Cholm. For over 100 days, against over 100 attacks (many including tanks), they hung on. When they were relieved, only 1200 were left.It became one of the classic siege success stories of the war, even though you probably never heard of it. Circle of Fire takes you into the key opening days of this siege, with challenges for both sides .The Soviets have more men, stronger artillery, and armour. One Night Ultimate Werewolf

One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a fast-paced game where everyone gets to be a different role. In the course of only one night and the following morning, the players will determine who among them is a werewolf...hopefully. One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a microgame of the party game Ultimate Werewolf that doesn't need a moderator. There's no elimination, and each game lasts about 10 minutes.

ASL: Action Pack 9 To The Bridge!

To the Bridge!, the ninth Action Pack for Advance Squad Leader, focuses on the 1942 Japanese invasion of Burma and the crushing Allied defeat and retreat towards Rangoon. Beginning with the December 1941 invasion of Thailand and ending with the disaster at the Sittang Bridge in February 1942, To the Bridge! is the first of three planned Action Packs covering the campaign from the Japanese invasion to the Allied liberation. The catalyst for World War One was the June 28th, 1914, assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, providing the Austro-Hungarian leaders with the perfect opportunity to strike back at the various forces attempting to tear down their empire. Austria-Hungary entered the war on a poor footing, facing major Russian advances from the East and finding themselves unable to progress against the Serbians, who they blamed for the assassination.
