Power Grid Expansion: The Stock Companies

The Stock Companies offer players a completely new game experience. As shareholders, the players want to get control over different stock companies so they can acquire the greatest wealth.Additionally this expansion offers two additional variants:In the first variant the players are shareholders who try to get shares of the most successful companies: the companies that supply electricity to the most cities.In the second variant the players control their private stock companies and try to establish them successfully on the electricity market. They sell sharesof their own companies to generate more cash and they are able to buy shares of other players' companies. Thus, they can also earn a portion of the other players' successes.This expansion offers players three new ways to play either Power Grid or Power Grid Deluxe. The first is The Stock Companies, which offer players a very different experience from Power Grid and Power Grid Deluxe. The two variants are a little bit closer to the well-known Power Grid experience. We wish you a lot of fun with all three!This expansion can be combined with all Power Grid maps and available power plant decks. If you own all Power Grid maps and the expansion "New Power Plants", this expansion offers 222 new possibilities to play Power Grid and Power Grid deluxe.This expansion can only be played with a copy of Power Grid or Power Grid deluxe

Treasure Hunter

Adventure, treasure and goblins are waiting for you!As treasure hunters, players go on a quest for legendary treasures, with their journey leading them up the icy peaks of Frosty Mountain, into the thickets of the Tangled Jungle,and down into the depths of Lava Caves.At the start of each game round, players assemble a hand of 9 cards, comprising adventurers, watchdogs, coins, and actions.Thus equipped, players are ready to start the treasure hunt. Be careful, though, as only two treasures await at each location. The player with the strongest band of adventurers gains one of these treasures, while the player with the fastest band of adventurers fetches the other. Everyone else must return home empty-handed.Among these treasures are precious artifacts and powerful magical scrolls - as well as items that no one really wants to collect.After their treasure hunt, whether successful or not, the hunters must still make a stand against sneaking goblins who want to steal their hard-earned treasures. Praetor

It's the year 122 CE and the Roman Empire is at the peak of its glory. Caesar Hadrian is no longer waging war against the barbarians, but building cities and fortifications to ensure a lengthy domination of the Roman culture and wealth.The southern part of Britain is under Roman domination, and Caesar has already begun the construction of Hadrian's Wall to protect the empire from invasions from the North. Together with the wall Caesar has ordered the founding of a new city which will remind the locals of the glory of Rome.He has appointed five of his most trusted men to take resources and workers from Rome and to build the city together, but in the end only one of them will be appointed Praetor and rule the Province in the name of Caesar.In Praetor you will take the role of a Roman engineer and you will work together with the other players to build a magnificent city. You will manage your limited resources wisely and look for new ones, you will recruit new Workers while your old experienced ones will retire, you will build settlements to keep the population happy and you will praise the Gods to earn their favor. Caesar will reward you if you give away precious resources to build Hadrian's Wall thus increasing your chances of becoming Praetor.Every turn you will place your Workers on previously built City Tiles to gain resources, Morale, new Workers or Favour points. You may also assign Workers to build new City Tiles or spend resources to meet Caesar's demands to gain Favour Points. At the end of each turn, you will have to pay your Workers. Otherwise, the mood in the city will deteriorate.Most of the actions your Workers will perform will help them gain experience. They will become increasingly skilled in collecting resources. Your most experienced Workers will eventually retire and bring you additional Favour Points but you will still have to show solidarity and pay them until the end of the game.
