The vampire you know as 'Sister Linora', wounded and outnumbered, fled the domed central hall of the ancient, sunken temple before the battle had even been truly decided. Kalarel's mad-eyed chanting priests were not so lucky. The ancient altar stood as a dead-end of sorts, there was no door nor passageway that led further in, no chamber wherein Kalarel could yet lurk.

Bar one. The ten foot hole in the center of the floor, a drain of sorts for the slowly flowing blood. Vast chains provide the only way down this forbidding drain, drenched in coagulated blood and old rust.

Directly beneath lies the ultimate chamber, a nightmare scene where Kalarel has chanted for days in performing his dread ritual.
The ritual that will crack open the extra-planar prison demiplane and free the Elder Horror contained within;
