Z-Man Games is offering replacement cards with Linen finish for owners of the First printing Pandemic so that they will match the new expansion "On the Brink"

We are offering a trade in so that your cards will match the newer printings which have a linen finish. Starting today, you may send us a copy of your 1st printing Operation Expert role card and I will send you a complete set of Infection and Player cards with a linen finish. Don't worry about losing your OpEx card - we have revised this role in this expansion. Please send the card to the address in the contact us page. Make sure your address is legible. Please allow some time to process requests.

Fantasy Flight has announced an expansion to the Battlestar Gallactica Game, Pegasus this includes a Pegasus Board, New Caprica Board and new roles amongst others.

Well having sent my "Operations Expert" card from Pandemic to Z-Man Games to claim my replacement cards, they arrived today.

Hats off to Z-Man games thats some awesome customer support, the only cost to me was the stamps to send card to the US. They supplied the full set of replacement cards for free, I have a lot of respect for a company prepared to support their customers in this way in the middle of a global recession.

Well Done Z-man games, I was already a fan of your work but know I can also recommend you on your excellent customer service/support.

Looks Like AEG and Fantasy Flight Games has stuck a deal regarding Dust Tactics along with a good portion of the Dust Games library which now is moving to a new home with Fantasy Flight Games.

Read the details on Boardgamegeek, Alderac Entertainment Forums and Fantasy Flight Games News.

Hopefully this will be good news for all concerned.

A tray to store the tokens from all expansions released to date

Sounds really interesting look forward to seeing this one..

Read a recent news story about a woman who played Smallworld online 22 hours a day and got her kids taken away from her along with a jail sentence for neglect. - I'm guessing Smallworld is addictive!

The on line version seems to be, in at least one reasonably reliably documented case, but the board game has a limited run time & cant be played solo quite so easily I think.

Still makes me want to try either version even more.
