Talisman Prologue Is Now Available for Download

Play the Game of Magical Quests on Your PC

Fantasy Flight Games is happy to announce that our friends over at Nomad Games now have Talisman Prologue available for download for the PC! Talisman Prologue is the first in a series of Talisman games that are slated for release from Nomad, all of which will be based on the rules of Talisman, the popular board game of magical quests.

A Word From Nomad Games

Nomad Games had the following to say in their press release about Talisman Prologue:

Talisman Prologue is designed to let players learn the full potential of ten key characters through a series of interlinked, narrative quests. “This release is a totally new spin on the board game,” explains Design Director Carl Jackson. “It’s a solo play mode based on the Revised 4th Edition rule set, and it presents players with a series of challenges and adventures that test each character’s special abilities to the full. There are sixty Quests, each of which has three achievement levels. Players will learn to trade gold and objects, build an arsenal of weaponry, use magical spells, and encounter a whole host of mythical characters and creatures.”

”It’s really gratifying to see this first release from the guys at Nomad so soon after we announced our partnership,” said Jon Gillard, Games Workshop’s Head of Licensing. “We think this is a wonderful kicking off point for the franchise in the interactive space, and we’re looking forward to the stream of other Talisman products over the coming months and years.”

The game is available as a download in German and English via the game website, www.talisman-game.com, and will also be available through online digital stores including GamersGate and Desura. A Polish-only version will be available via CDP.PL (formerly known as CD Projekt) on their digital platform, reached via http://www.cdp.pl or http://www.cdprojekt.pl.

Nomad Games will use Talisman Prologue as the platform for designing multiplayer modes and is busy working on versions for smartphones and tablets.
