The Stuff of NightmaresRetailers, Support Your The Lord of the Rings Players with Game Night Kits“He noticed a place of dense black shadow ahead of him, black even for that forest, like a patch of midnight that had never been cleared away. As he drew nearer, he saw that it was made by spider-webs one behind and over and tangled with another. Suddenly he saw, too, that there were spiders huge and horrible sitting in the branches above him.”

Retailers: Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce that we are adding The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game to our Organized Play program in 2013!
You’ll soon be able to support your local player base with custom The Lord of the Rings Game Night Kits.
Along with a deck box, rules sheet, and promotional poster, these kits introduce new “Nightmare Decks” for the three scenarios from the Core Set.
What’s a Nightmare Deck?
Each twenty-two card Nightmare Deck is designed to add new terrors and surprises to familiar scenarios.
They present players the opportunity to revisit the three Core Set scenarios cast in the shadows of a challenging new Nightmare Mode. Featuring deadlier enemies, darker locations, and more terrifying surprises, each of the Game Night Kit’s three Nightmare Decks introduce twenty encounter cards and instructions for using them to reshape the encounter decks from the three Core Set scenarios. The result? A nightmarish journey back to the heart of Mirkwood that will have players on the edge of their seats!
