Looks like we have a Date for the first event at the new Location at Spirit Games.

Please sign up for this event (if you are a maybe you can still sign up the event system allows you to confirm your Signup or even remove it if you find you no longer can come.

HackMaster 4-6 players will need to be able to work as a team I will have pregenned characters avalible for a traditional balanced old school adventuring party.

all characters will be human for the run through & first level

Fighter x3
Cleric x1
Magic user x1
Thief x1

& the session will be built a bit like a 4th ed D&D encounter with several linked events & challenges in a dungeon setting for which I hope to have Terraclips to build the set up.

I am also proposing to run the intro version of Privateer presses new Iron kingdoms RPG on Thursdays some time soon as its one of my favourite backgrounds.

I may try to organise running a taster before this session.

I have been Writing a proper Scenario for the first time in what seems like ages & have pretty much go the introduction & preamble done so I am now looking for folks to investigate the fall of the Blue Bell, taking on the roles of a small group of weary adventure seekers

Have now reposted this on the Spirit Games web site & on the Friends of Spirit Games where I will shortly be posting it as a popper event  shortly. I may even cross post it on the east and west Midlands meeetup groups  if I can recall my log in details.

one small point can we have more people voting remember vote early & vote often....

As for me & HackMaster I now have a set of character figures built for it using Conquest Norman infantry with a few bits from Wargames Factory Saxons. I also have most of the monsters painted apart form the leaders which are still in the shop at the moment. I also picked up the HackMaster GM's screen which is suitably impressive a beast.

it is I think going to plan at the moment....

By way of an after action report I managed to get two victims eager players to experience the world of hack & this being not quite enough to do the adventure I had in mind I ran a bit of a preamble to it. Showing how two or was that three of the Hero's met & bonded through a nasty experience in the woods. Now they are safe in Yariels Rest but adventure awaits them perhaps in the Blue Bell inn.

It all went well but I am going to have to be careful with the combats as a TPK nearly happened in an easy combat system teaching encounter that said the combat ran rather smoothly I would be more than happy to run more of the preamble some time soon, perhaps to introduce more charactors.

Our company so far is a dour & now scared dwarven warrior & a pair of halflings one a priest of the caregiver & the other a stout  lad just off the farm
