The Chartist vessel Glories of Faith a mega freighter carrying the tribute of over a dozen worlds in its holds  reports a problem part of the ship has been taken over by some unknown sort of Zenos there seems to be quite a large number of these creatures and whilst the ships compliment have contained the situation they are unable to dislodge them form the parts of the ship they hold & a stale mate has developed. This might be ignored if the parts they hold where not around twenty five percent of the cargo space on the ship meaning the loss at least temporarily of a great deal of essential tribute. The ships master Kavtigan Vastiorm was an inquisitorial agent for some time & has used this to request the intervention of Death-watch to help break this impasse.

Inquisitor Sebrathin's courier is the nearest inquisitional vessel & as he has a Death-watch kill team aboard he is more than happy to task them with this.

The Mission is to break the stale mate & so allow the substantial security force of the Glories of Faith an not insubstantial force given that the ships crew is 20,000 to regain control of the whole ship.

The Zenos who are apparently 4-5 feet tall semi erect furred tailed bipeds with sufficient intelligence to use captured weapons & to have improvised there own out of other captured gear. They appear to have very little concept of individual survival being happy to use numbers to over whelm defenders, but are cunning enough to both feign flight & to execute ambushes. Combat experience with them suggests that they have much better night vision than humans  & they know enough to use this to their advantage.

I had a truly horrifying thought there for a moment.

Till I noticed that the Xenos in question have tails.
So, rather we are fighting space raccoons?

The situation would have to get pretty desperate before that happens as it would mean the dead loss of a ship five times the size of the largest imperial battle ship & all its massive cargo. I would also point out that whilst  Inquisitor Sebrathin's ship the Falcon is armed it is not armed with weapons that could do the job very quickly as a courier its weapons are  mostly defensive batteries & designed to help its speed when trying to evade a fight.

Questions would be asked, hard questions in the high reaches of the Inqusition & the Admiistratum should that happen.

Team briefed & ready to go and waiting in the small craft launch bay  as Inquisitor Sebrathin's courier Eternal Vigilancematches speed & velocity with the massive Glories of Faith and draws along side.....

Requisition points 20 each this is expected to be a short sharp fight.....
