It`s this wild colour scheme that freaks me. When you try and operate one of these weird black controls which are labelled in black on a black background a small black light lights up black to let you know you`ve done it. What is this? Some kind of intergalactic hyperhearse? - Zaphod

Details from their website:

UK Games Expo aims to be the premier event in the UK where all aspects of the gaming hobby are represented under one roof:

The goal is to raise the profile of gaming as a hobby that will appeal to families and the general public as well as the enthusiast.

The intention is to create a show along the lines of the US and German games conventions where families and gamers can come and play many new and different games available from the industry's leading manufacturers and publishers as well as participate in the many events taking place during the convention:

    * Tournaments and Championships in the most popular game systems
    * Newest games and releases
    * Large trade fair
    * Computer LAN and Online Gaming
    * Fun Radio/Controlled Games
    * Participation and Demonstration Games

UK Games Expo 2009 will be open to the public and extensively advertised.
