Whist I know this won't be of interest to many people there were a couple of humorous asides come up recently.
One of the Politicians is Mitt Romney.  There was a poll to guess his real first name, rather worryingly 2% of those polled thought it was Mittens.

Also, another politico, Rick Santorum caused some fuss a while back on his stance against gay marriage. A local (gay) reporter got rather incensed by this and came up with a rather amusing webpage.  Warning not for children, the sensitive, supporters of Rick Santorum, homophobes or people who have just eaten breakfast.

I dont study American Politics but what little I see and hear of it on the BBC it strikes me that the country is a largely ungovernable & like Cthulu mythos the more you study it the more likely it is to drive you irreversibly mad.

I am so glad to be a European some times
