Si: A long abandoned Gnomish settlement lay underground with various cunning traps (including some lethal doors), to get around these the creatures that now inhabit the place had created new tunnels to bypass the key operated doors.
Very soon “The League of Ineptitude” were in action against the creatures and found that they were very stealthy and hard to spot no doubt due to their partial visibility, later to be known as the Vanishing.

At this point Entwhistle suffers from amnesia for a session

Returning to the action sees a resurrected Dwarf? Having hovered up all our money

Having explored much of the complex and battling against all sorts of creatures “The Band of the Very Wary” finally discovered the lift shaft down to level 2.

DSB: You entered Jzadirune though Keygan's shop. You dealt with numerous Skulks and eventually encounter the smaller ones with cloven feet - Dark Creepers and their leader a Dark Stalker. The Dark Stalker and a few of the Skulks you met appeared to be suffering from the Vanishing and had turned semitransparent.

You also found and defeated another creature that both groups of villians were hiding from - a Grell (kind of like a flying brain with tentacles)

The final show down with the Dark Stalker and his minions was a beautiful piece of teamwork with the Dark Stalker dying in absolute shock. After much dodging around in a room full of fog (created by the Dark Stalker) and broken crockery coving the floor (making move silently chances nigh on impossible - unless you happened to be a Dark Creeper) the party triangulated the Dark Stalker. For a brief moment he though he had rolled to safety ready to make his escape from the room. Entwhistle firing a blind shot from his bow, directed only by the parties yells of guidance, caught the Dark Stalker squarely between the shoulders.

Many rooms, traps, permanent illusions, and creature later you find Starbrow sitting on what initially appeared to be a chest. The chest turned out to be a Mimic. Using all your cunning and tactics Wink you decide to face it one at a time, without the knowledge of the other party members. This resulted in the early demise of Dwarf Rogan Josh (who was mightily surprised when his weapon stuck to the mimic and was wrenched out of his hand). You finally managed to over come the mimic and take Rogan back to St. Cuthbert's temple to see what Jenya could do to help.

Fortunately Sarcem Delesharm (absent temple head) had one scroll of raise dead in the temple store. This consumed the parties current treasure fund.

Upon your return to Jzadirune you find a couple of lowly Hobgoblins guarding a lift platform which takes you down to the Malachite Fortress below.
