During the Months which Laura spent at the EASTERN DEFENCE centre under the suburbs of Nexus she recalls having several conversations with a young sidereal called Silver Swan what follows here is a précis of what the Sidereal said. As far as Laura is aware Silver swan spoke to no one else though she did seem to be staff of a very junior sort at the defence centre. No one else seemed to have a clue she was any thing other than a minor functionary.
Laura, Fran & Bob together seem to have an unusually powerful effect on the destinies of those around them. Whilst all exalts chose their own paths and are seldom touched directly by destiny after exaltation and will tend to alter those of the people & places that they associate with what has happened to the tapestry of fate in the year and a half since Laura, Bob & Fran arrived in the dawn age is unprecedented.
Silver Swan has investigated this matter and believes that the changes where caused by sidereal magic & that the began subtly to work on the tapestry almost fifty years ago, however when Fran Bob & Laura arrived in creation this effect escalated quickly reaching its peak spectacularly at the calibration party. She believes that Laura Fran & Bob share the magic and that its effect is amplified by their proximity and the auspiciousness or lack of it of the date.
Changes Silver Swan believes to be caused by the magic include the following but its not an exclusive list.
1/ George- yes he is the child of Evocative Thought and an ordinary Jedrt, but such a minor spirit should not give rise to a proper god blood and even if the union had God bloods almost never exalt & those which do are always part human which George is not. All that would have normally resulted was a rather long lived and exceptional Jedrt. Further Silver Swan has traced such a destiny up until shortly after Laura made him her pet.
2/ Henderson Ifoe - Would have been a normal mortal & totally unexceptional in any way before Laura rescued her even then, the rescue would only have changed her life materially and extended it some what as street children dont last long in creation, but not significantly altered the magnitude of her destiny. She has almost no trace of a terrestrial blood line or decent from a supernatural creature fro as far back as Silver Swan could check which was at least ten generations. She is also far too young to have exalted as any thing other than a terrestrial as all the celestial exaltations take place with the recipients well into their twenties at a minimum, & lacking a significant destiny as she did even than it shouldn't have happened.
3/ Sesus Elle on the other hand should have exalted as far as Silver Swan can tell but seems to have been targeted by the initial wave of destiny meddling magic even before she was conceived.
