Unrest simmers in Cauldron as taxes rise and half orc mercenaries bulk up the militia to maintain the peace.

The paladin of St Cuthberts has also issued a challenge to the captain of the guard.

Jenna the high priestess wants trouble averted so we attend an anti tax rally to see if the paladin shows up. As the guards try to arrest the main speaker two of them are killed and all hell breaks loose.

Entwhistle on a rooftop dispatches the murderers as they flee. Leorn tries to bring order by scaring the hell out of everyone, accidentally frying a group of bowmen who have opened up on the crowd from the town hall.

At some point Entwhistle is paralysed and has to be pushed off the roof and rescued. Paul R and Carole help the speaker to escape as an Air Elemental arrives increasing the chaos.

Realising that reinforcements are on the way the party head home to avoid trouble as Leorn stays to rescue the militia Sergeant from the elemental thus earning us an ally for later.

Back at the Drunken Morkoth Paul R is invited to travel to Red Gorge in two nights time to attend a meeting of the Chislers secret society.
