The battle stood on a knife edge the rebels more numerous but less organised had thrown themselves into the Realm battle line again and again and it had held and ground forwards. Bobs diversion had succeeded, blown the north gate the adjacent walls not to mention some nearby houses to smithereens and left the road a channel house of dead cattle.  

Further he had defeated one of Ahlats war aurochs whilst retreating from the diversion and this had given every one else the idea to take out these spirits who where urging on the rebels  if not for the most part taking part in the fighting. Organised by Gelmuxi Yofahu Laura, Bob,Anarith, Tiholu, & Kayoba formed a strike team ad went ahead to challenge the Bull Spirits which they did successfully, in no small part due to Anarith's grand daiklave whilst the battle raged and waxed in the realms favour as the wild charges of the Harbourhead rebels waned in the face of the resolute killing machine formed of veteran  mercenaries trained Lookshy & realm heavy infantry style

However the rebels where not defeated and they did have numbers on their side and they surged froward again as the Ishadhi, chosen son of the bull god steps forward with his thousand wives dripping with Orichalcum jewellery and weapons under the noon day sun, over the channel house of dead cattle, through the shattered gates of Ifonaris roaring like a wild Bull challenging rival.

King Akled hoped he was not too late as a Drum of the Leopard seat he had tried to keep his support for the Ishadhi secret until the time was right to join the victorious side however the cunning little officer from the 47th who he had paid well to keep out of the way had it seemed discovered that which he should not have and with the audacity Aklad's spies ascribed to him acted to deal with it. Which had Akled was afraid forced his hand early when he had only his very illegal standing army to hand. King Akled commended his spies the man Gelmuxi Yofahu for all he was new come form the house of bells was as dangerous as they said he was

Brave, and commendable, if one could say that of an enemy,  but not enough for the Realms scratch force of mercenaries where less than six thousand strong to the Ishadhi's twenty thousand at Ifonaris with as many more in the surrounding Kraals not to mention the ten thousand Totikari warriors running at his command. Not even the children of the Dragons could withstand odds of that sort.

to the south Evocative Thought & his friends from the court of the empty water hole where running north as fast as they could & he hoped he would not be to late for the night sky had foretold much he did not he felt properly understand or particularly like the implications of. Though it did not worry him half so much as the fact he seemed unexpectedly to know quite so  much about astrology and other fragments of esoteric lore all of a sudden.
