Getting back on topicGeorge liked the north even if the stone halls of Inkosintaba's barracks and officers palaces are poor hunting and full of people who have to be dogged because they have great flat feet and the wits of a particularly stupid beetle. When you caught something it was well worth the effort and the flying insects where quite exquisite in flavour and though they where not particularly nutritious George liked crunching the wings he also liked crunching the crispy fried breads that where made in the barracks kitchens even if the stupid people who made them begrudged one to a Jedrat, not that the half witted makers could do more than yell and shout "Rat" and some times throw things which always missed. George found this amusing and wondered what it would be like to be as big as slow and clumsy as a human. He had dreamed of being that size & other things he did not understand what was a war strider and was the being called First and Forsaken Lion another mother killing monster that he had to slay?
George wondered if Laura would like them since she apparently didn't have the same taste for a good beetle he did, he would have to get her one with that he stretched and went of hunting.
