Photography Day at Tutbury Castle Sunday 26th June 2011
A chance to photograph professional models in costume and historical artefacts in a real 11th century castle with breathtaking views. A rare and exciting opportunity for professional and amateur photographers alike.
For the first time ever on Sunday 26th June, Tutbury Castle is opening its doors for professional and amateur
photographers alike to take advantage of this gorgeous 11th century royal castle. The castle will be closed to the general public and open to ticket holders only.
We are offering this rare and extraordinary opportunity to photograph a variety of professional models in costume in all periods of history including World War I and II, Victorian Redcoats, Vikings, knights in armour, civilians and historical characters such as Nell Gwynne. There will also be a range of artefacts, vehicles and birds to photograph.
Tickets are just £10 per person including tea and coffee. Our pretty tea room will also be serving a range of hot and cold food and refreshments.
Said Lesley Smith, Curator – “Photographers love it here and many enthusiasts who would love a chance to photograph professional models simply can’t afford them. This is their chance – all day.”
