The weekend of the 25th and 26th June will see some rather unusual activities going on in the grounds of Conkers. Vikings of Middle England are probably more famous for their frighteningly realistic, exciting and entertaining battle displays, and these are usually used as a finale to a day’s events. The thunderous clash of steel as opposing forces meet, war cries mingling with the screams of the dying, the visual effect is stunning. And Conkers visitors can witness this at no extra cost and mingle with the Vikings and families in their authentic Viking Village magically transported to Conkers for the weekend!
