Evening all, just to let you know that we're slaving away on the Christmas Special here on Lard Island. I am formatting the final article and Nick is working on his final piece so the good news is that barring disaster we will be ready to rock on Monday morning. I can't give you the running order just yet as I will be stitching it all together tomorrow but here's an overview of the contents.

The Bulls of Bravo is a Charlie Don't Surf scenario set in 1966 with the USMC taking on Charlie in a tough fight.
Lovely Weather for Dux looks at the effect of weather on your games of Dux and the campaign setting.
The Sea Wolves is Chris Stoesen's guide to Dux in the Vikings Age and includes three scenarios,
The Viking Chronicles is a complimentary piece to the above detailing the period from 600 to 1066 and the conflicts suitable for Sea Wolves.
The Roundwood Report sees a review of the year, a look forward to 20013 and a VERY important announcement about the future.
Gunther Mensch's Panzer Tactics is a guide to Panzer tactics in wargames from the Meister himself.
Panzer Angriff is a mini-campaign for IABSM to test your skills as a Panzer commander.
Invasion Earth is Robert Avery's guide to putting your sci-fi forces together with an interesting twist - Don't own sci-fi figures? Think again!
Swedish Dux is an interview with two Vikings who have been using Dux in Sweden to cover other periods, we unveil the snaps and talk to two of the blogosphere' s stars.
WWII Kriegsspiel sees the Meckel Map used for a very different game set in 1945.
The Yanks are Coming is a follow on from a piece in the Summer Special and looks at career paths and backgrounds for US Big Men in Mud & Blood.
Sidney Roundwood's Road to Ruins is a step by step guide to producing some ruined terrain from the meister himself.
Olkhovatka! is a Kursk scenario for IABSM by the ubiquitous Robert Avery.
You Dirty Rat sees Nick wheel out the 1920s Gangsters and their Molls for a Christmas Extravaganza in the spirit of Lard Island festive games.
More SturmAbteilung Vor! sees Sidney reassess the tactics of the Stormtroopers based on a broad range of contemporary sources and provides an intriguing pre-game scenario development system.
We have a couple of Bag the Hun scenarios as well.

Unfortunately we are having to hold back a few pieces submitted until next Summer, specifically those for Algy - we hope to have that back flying by then - and some very nice photo heavy stuff for the Arab Israeli War which we just couldn't fit in this time as we are already going large on file size and a variable campaign system for Dux which looks great but we just ran out of time and space (apologies to all concerned on those pieces).
