I have decided what this one will be and it will be fought over much the same terrain as part one, but will include larger forces & a British attack with armour support to attempt to bridge the canal with a Churchill bridge tank

More details to follow.

Scenario

This designed to be a larger game to be run as two tables for Troops weapons and Tactics TW&T using 20mm figures  or one using I aint been shot mum IABSM & 15mm figures.

It is a follow up to part one and takes place the following day.

The Germans recognising that there is a viable crossing point for infantry at least here have decided to defend the canal in greater strength & have pushed forward a company of infantry over night who have begun to dig in taking positions on the allied side of the canal in the Village & further down at the Chatau, in order to prevent infiltration by this route.

The Allies plan is however more ambitious and they have  a plan to place a tank crossable bridge in this location as well as to secure the large foot bridge in the Village & the small one behind the Chatau in the gardens.

To this end they have deployed a company of infantry supported by a platoon of tanks  to secure a place where a bridge laying tank can deploy its bridge across the canal to allow armour to cross. When the bridge is in place a further couple more  platoons of tanks will be sent for to cross the canal at the new bridge once it is in place.

In theory this could be merged with the first scenario to give a thee phase game though as it goes on the Germans will be more & more hard pressed.
