Phil Harding, Torchwood West team member and world authority on neolithic flint tool working was sadly killed on the 2nd February 2011, following an unfortunate incident with an archaeological dig and an alien artifact.

Brought to his attention during an episode of History Team: Live! (his favourite programme) Phil raced to the scene of the excavations to exume an artifact of other-worldly construction, which appears to have gripped him with greater vigour than a bag full of teserae.

His last moments were broadcast to the world, illustrating the zeal with which he fought to prevent the item falling into the hands of the general populace.

His loss to the Western office will be keenly felt, as without his 'slide evenings' at which he displayed his detailed records of over 37 major historical excavations, including his landmark ring-ditch, the bar of the Busted will never be as lively again.
