New Traveller Campaign 2010.05.04

Um'ed and Ah'ed over what to run. Decided to run Traveller - Mongoose Tripwire (as from my last discussion Zardos hadn't read it!)
It's quite a long running campaign, but split nicely over many adventure chunks and realtively easy to accomodate people coming and going.

The team needs to be an established free trader group with loyalty to the Imperium. We will need  the usual spread of ship board skills (Merchant, Pilot, Engineer, Astrogator, Gunner) along with some combat skills, computer, negotiation and stealth abilities.
There is no restriction on race, as long as most of the players are Imperail citizens and they have good reason for being together.
The campaign is set in Jewell/Spinward Marches subsector. As free traders you are practiced at taking advantage of the highly lucrative boarder trade between the Zhodani and Imperial regions of space - something that the Imperial Mega-corps are unable to do.

You will be experienced at dealing with the Zhodani trade regulations and customs. You will know, with relative ease, how to handle the paperwork and red tape of travel over the boarder and back.
The date is 1105. The Fourth Frontier War, mainly between the Imperium and Zhodani, ended in 1084 but suspicion and tension between the two races, has always been, and is ever present. Think of it like a cross between the Israelis/Palestinians, and the Allies/Russian cold war in Germany.
You will have your own free trader ship.
